Struan Rodger (Range 30-50)
One of those faces that appears so regularly on Cinema screens - most recently in "Young Adam", "The Madness of King George", "Four Weddings and a Funeral", and previously in "Chariots of Fire", "Les Miserables" and "Hitler, A Portrait of Evil", among others.
On TV he's made telling appearances in so many plays - "An Unsuitable Job for a Woman", "Richard II", "Moll Flanders", "Highlander", "Circle of Deceit", "Prime Suspect", "LOvejoy", "Spender", "Bergerac", and "Young Sherlock Holmes".
Always surprising, Struan is a Celtic chameleon, equally convincing in Scottish, Irish, Welsh, or his native Mancunian accent. A consummate actor, he's appeared many times on stage in most of the classics - at the National, the Royal Court, and for the Peter Hall Company where he played Lucky in "Waiting for Godot", followed by a stint on Broadway in "Medea". He's a favourite too on BBC Radio Drama.
His commercial strengths are his facility with dialect, and the integrity he brings to each performance. Campaigns include Renault, Emirate Air, Bacardi Spice, Volvo, TK Maxx, & AA Membership, and numerous contributions to National Geographic, the History Channel, and BBC documentaries such as the "German History" series, and "World War II in Colour". Struan has also read talking books, such as "I Am David", and played Samuel Whiskers in "The Tale of Samuel Whiskers" (Penguin).
