Capitalising on his gift for accents, he mastered the nuancies of a range of accents including all areas of London, Essex, Yorkshire, Liverpool and Cornish (mother is native Cornish).
His rugged, powerful and yet natural acting style ensured that many roles followed in Film, TV & Theatre.
Notable appearances on film have included: 'Let Him Have It', 'Jonny English', 'K19 the Widowmaker' (directed by Oscar winner, Kathryn Bigelow) and 'Bravo Two Zero' alongside Sean Bean. More recently he's featured in 'Made In Romania' and 'White Lightening'.
Always a strong presence on screen, Steve has also starred in many popular TV series, 'Soldier Soldier', 'Between The Lines', 'Eastenders', 'A Touch Of Frost', 'Martin Chuzzlewit', 'The Bill', 'Murphy's Law', 'Spooks', 'Space Race' (Russian accent), 'Casualty', 'The Take' - and has just finished filming 'Whitechapel'.

Steve has narrated several trailers, and documentaries including 'Hunting Chris Ryan' (BBC series) and 'World War 2 In Colour' (ITV).
A likeable, strong, straight talking kind of guy. The gravelly depth of his voice lends power and presence, plus he has great charm and style when it comes to narrating children's stories.
