Philip McGough (Range 45-60)
Philip is very recognisable, because he turns up in so many TV programmes!
After a stint at the RSC in the 1970's, and having worked in Europe & America, Philip first appeared on TV in such classics as "Dixon of Dock Green", "Dr.Who", and "The Monocled Mutineer". He's featured in "Brookside", "Minder", "Van Der Valk", "Only Fools & Horses", "Inspector Morse", "Boon", "Between the Lines", "Chancer", "The Ruth Rendell Mysteries", "Jonathan Creek", "The Bill", "Casualty", "Hamish Macbeth", "Sharpe's Gold" and "The Bench". He appears regularly as the doctor in the ongoing series of "Bad Girls".
Films include "Gulliver's Travels" for Disney, and "Bugs"; theatre includes "Pied Piper" and "Black Snow" at the National Theatre. For Radio 4, he researched, wrote and presented "In Belloc's Footsteps".
Philip's voice is warm & friendly, with a hint of steel - he usually plays authority figures such as police inspectors, pathologists, teachers. Commercial producers love his irony and dry wit - commercials include National Lottery, Comet, Visa, Sunday Telegraph, Kenya Airways, Drayton Manor & VW Vada.
