Where to begin? Such a distinguished career in theatre, film and TV, from the original casts of "Les Miserables" & "Miss Saigon", via stints with RNT and RSC, to the Childcatcher in "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", the lead in "Phantom of the Opera" and most recently, "Imagine This".
For years, Peter played Chris in "Birds of a Feather" (BBC TV) and has guest-starred in "Waking The Dead", "Sunburn", "Mile High", "Holby City", "EastEnders", and many more.
On film he's played Domingo Mercante in "Evita", Louis B. Mayer in "De-Lovely" and a leading role in "O Jerusalem".
A dazzling list of theatre credits: "Grease", "South Pacific", "Godspell", "Anthony & Cleopatra", "Sexual Perversity in Chicago", "Oklahoma!" (RNT) - also starring in the BAFTA award-winning film version. His portrayal of Oscar Madison in "The Odd Couple" gained him the M'cr. Evg.News Best Actor nomination.
His great value is in the sheer diversity of accents, ages & characters available, particularly European/Middle Eastern, and his comic timing is magic. The character voices are zany, surreal, and his relaxed narrative voice is approachable and intimate.
Commercials include Bisto, Snickers, BT, Evening Standard, British Gas & Anadin. Radio work includes "It's All Greek to Me" (Radio 2) and the youth magazine show "Young Gifted & Greek" for London Greek Radio.
