Niamh Daly (Range 20-35) Since training at the Manchester Poly School of Theatre, Niamh has worked extensively in theatre in England and Ireland, including the Royal Exchange, the Young Vic Studio & the Gate Theatre, Dublin - and her work has been nominated for a number of awards. Roles include leads in "The Turn of the Screw", "The Daughter in Law", "Dancing at Lughnasa" and "Rutherford & Sons", plus strong supporting roles in "Pride & Prejudice" and "Much Ado About Nothing". Niamh played Carol Delaney, a regular character in Coronation Street and Maeve, one of 6 main characters in The Cassidys, a sitcom for Irish TV. Other roles for screen have been in Heartbeat, Midsomer Murders and Johnjo Mickeybo for Moonstone. She features in a new play "Dr. Ledbetter's Experiment" at the Kilkenny Festival in Ireland. She has featured in a number of radio plays for the BBC and RTE (Ireland). Commercial work includes Red Bull, Curry's, Daily & Sunday Mirror, Argos, Orange, Nokia, Fedex and Walker's Crisps. A warm and sympathetic voice, with a light humorous touch, and a good range of Irish regional accents.
