Michael Burrell (Range 40-60) Michael's career spans working at the RSC, Chichester, Stratford East, and all the major British theatres, as well as appearances in more than 40 countries, including "Burrell on the Bard" in Beirut, India and Canada, and his own play "Hess" in New York, London, Amsterdam, Ottawa & Dublin, winning many awards, including Best Actor and Best Single Play. He has appeared in more than 20 films and numerous television programme, the most recent being Kavanagh QC, EastEnders & Harry and the Wrinklies. Michael has been Associate Director of the Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh, of Derby Playhouse, and until recently was Director of the Angles Theatre, Wisbech. He has written a number of successful plays, has a weekly newspaper column, and continues to direct. Commercials & Corporates include: Anchor Cheese, National Lottery, Jaguar, Audi, and the National Maritime Museum. Recent contributions to documentaries include editions of Timewatch, Panorama, Hitler's Generals, and Battle of the Atlantic. Recently, his theatre career has flourished, going straight from a year-long stint in "The Moustrap" into another thriller, "The Woman In Black" at the Fortune Theatre.
