Luke Roberts (Range 20-40)
Luke was raised in Suffolk, then took a degree in American Studies at the University of Wales, Swansea.
He spent a year in Massachusetts studying American history, politics , literature & film, whilst also taking drama courses and performing at different universities - playing American, S.African … and Aliens !
He was elected President of Swansea University Players, directing and performing in various productions and played Edinburgh with the Nat. Student Theatre Co. in "Desperate Remedies".
A one-year post-graduate course at LAMDA followed. This led to an audition for Tom Hanks' Dreamworks and a role in "Band of Brothers", closely followed by TV appearances in "My Hero", "Family Affairs", "Crossroads", "Mile High", and to starring for many years as Dr. Joseph Byrne in "Holby City". Luke can be seen next in "Law & Order UK" and the movie "Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides".
With a highly artistic family background, Luke is no exception, a creative, adventurous spirit, discerning and thoughtful. His voice is intimate and warm, full of charm, with a sardonic edge.
