Johnnie Lyne-Pirkis
(Range 30-50)

Born in Surrey, of Irish parents, so a Northern Irish accent is not out of the question !

Trained for 2 years at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

He's appeared in numerous TV productions, including "Jeeves & Wooster", "House of Cards", "The Brittas Empire", "The Scold's Bridle", "Spooks", and "The Message".

On stage he's featured in "Troilus & Cressida", "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "Nebuchadnezzar", "End of the Night", "The Ministry of Pleasure" and "Keeler". Film credits include "Swing Kids" (Disney) and "Messages".

Johnnie is Associate/Exec. Director of Theatre503 (at the Latchmere), which he founded in 2002 - winner of the Peter Brook Empty Space Award 2004, and nominated for Time Out's Best Fringe Theatre Award 2006.

Vocally, Johnnie's voice is warm, strong, and authoritative, with a hint of irony. He's recently recorded commercials for "The Best of Little Britain", and "The Best of British" (drama/comedy).
