She appeared in "I'll Be Back Before Midnight", "Dangerous Obsession" and "Bedroom Farce" at Windsor, followed by "Private Lives" at Theatre Clwyd, and Lady Bracknell in "The Importance of Being Earnest", "See You Next Tuesday" (on tour & West End), "Going Straight" and the critically acclaimed, "Festen" (West End). Carol's TV series include "Heartland", "Girl Talk", "Oxbridge Blues" , "Ladies in Charge" ( TV series and film), three series of the sitcom "Life Without George" and Dennis Potter's "Blackeyes". TV films include "Waxwork", "When the Wall Comes Tumbling Down", and "Hedgehog Wedding". Also on TV, "The Racing Game", "The Professionals" (2 episodes), "Casualty", "The Bill" (2 episodes), "Thief Takers", "Bergerac", "Crime Traveller" , "Grange Hill", "Heartbeat"(4 episodes) , "Second Sight", 36 episodes of "Crossroads", "Doctors" and "The Gil Mayo Murders". Films include "Tuxedo Warrior" and "Deadline". She recorded the letters of Emily Buchanan for Woman's Hour. Among her many long-running commercial campaigns are those for Chanel and Playtex.
