Bill Bingham (Range 40-60) Bill has worked in radio and TV for most of his life. Starting off at Birmingham Rep., he appeared in TV dramas at the fledgling Pebble Mill centre, also the home of BBC Radio Birmingham, who invited him to join them as presenter. He moved on to Radio City in Liverpool as it went on air in 1974. After Radio City, Bill joined the BBC and was for many years one of the voices behind Radio Four's Shipping Forecast, (Cromarty, Dogger, Fair Isle etc)! Then came Independent Radio News, and stints on LBC, Capital, Jazz FM and Magic. After a career in radio lasting 25 years, Bill returned to the theatre, appearing most recently in "King Lear", "Jekyll and Hyde", "Educating Rita", "Hobson's Choice" and "Death of a Salesman". On TV, credits include "The Upper Hand" (Central), "EastEnders", "The Bill", Crossroads" and the hit series "The Queen's Nose". Documentary work includes several series for Discovery Channel and C4, sporting features for TWI and his many corporate campaigns include Mercedes-Benz, National Asthma Council, Motorola and Castrol. Commercials include: Weatherglaze, Decca Records, Anusol, Opera Celebration, Mercury, Canto Gregoriano, Saga and Sony.
