Tim Howar* Vocal Range Low G to high C-sharp. Born in Canada, Tim trained at the Edmonton Musical Theatre and Banff Centre. He won an international youth talent competition in Memphis, USA, and later emerged as one of the most electrifying performers from the Toronto musical theatre scene. He created the role of Joel in "Anything That Moves", Martin in "Outrageous", and Tommy in The Who's "Tommy" (Canadian tour). Tim has appeared in many musicals, all across North America, including "Hello Dolly", "Miss Saigon", "Oliver!", "Joseph", "Martin Guerre" and "Les Miserables". He made his West End debut in "Peggy Sue Got Married", and starred in the Rod Stewart/Ben Elton musical "Tonight's The Night". He toured Europe and the UK in a series of concerts called "The Magnificent Musicals", and was solo vocalist in the Richard Rogers Centenary Concert with the L.P.O. Most recently Tim spent 18 months starring in a highly-acclaimed run of "Rent" on Broadway. He sings lead vocals with a rock band, Van Tramp, and co-writes much of their music.
