Steven Houghton Vocal Range Bottom F (E flat) to top B flat.
Born and educated in Sheffield, Steven came to London at 16, to appear in the Ensemble of "Children of Eden".
In a busy few years, he's played most of the major roles in musicals, including Munkustrap in "Cats", Arnaud in "Martin Guerre", Keith in "Spend Spend Spend" (Olivier Award nominee), Danny Zuko in "Grease", Chris in "Miss Saigon", and Narrator in "Blood Brothers".
Steven's also appeared in "Kiss Me Kate", "Great Expectations", "Annie Get Your Gun" and "Friends Like Us". In 1998 he won "Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes" as Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet. And he appeared on French TV as The Phantom, singing "Phantom of the Opera" with Marie Zamora.
He earned a gold disc for his debut album with BMG, and has appeared on numerous original cast recordings, including "Spend Spend Spend", "Martin Guerre", "Hot Mikado", "Children of Eden" and "Moby Dick".
Steven has enormous flexibility and a creamy middle range, good for ballad-singing.
