Mazz Murray Vocal Range 3 octaves from bottom E to top E belt. London-born Mazz comes from a musical family (daughter of song-writer Mitch Murray), and trained at Redroofs Theatre School, Maidenhead. She's played many leading roles including Mabel in "Fame", Maureen in "Rent", Bertha in "Pippin", Debs in "Boogie Nights" with Shane Richie in the UK and USA, Mazz in "Smokey Joe's Café", and both Patsy Cline and Dusty Springfield in "Only the Lonely". She was guest vocalist alongside Brian May in a tribute concert to Dan Crawford at the Strand Theatre, and with Sir John Mills in a tribute concert to Vivian Ellis at the Garrick Club. She played Sandy in "Grease" with Will Mellor & the Allstars Band. She also won Best Vocalist at the Maltese European Song Festival for Sky TV. Mazz is an original cast member of "We Will Rock You" (currently starring as the Killer Queen), and also appears on the soundtracks of "Sweet Charity", "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Chicago", all recorded at Abbey Road. Mazz is a lady of extraordinary talent and vitality. Also very funny - she's written sketch shows and appeared at Comedy City, LA. A born performer with a smoky, rich lower register.
