Joanna Ampil Vocal Range Mezzo/Soprano to top E. Joanna hails from Manila, Philippines. Since coming to London in 1992 she's had starring roles in many West End shows, including Kim in "Miss Saigon", Mary in "Jesus Christ Superstar", Eponine & Fantine in "Les Miserables", Sheila in "Hair", The Ingenue - June, in "Musical of Musicals", also Mimi in the European tour of "Rent". Special concerts include "Tribute to My Fair Lady" (Eliza) and "Miss Saigon's 10th Anniversary" (Kim); "Night of 100 Stars" (Palladium), "Showtime at the Stadium" (Cardiff), "Stars of the Musicals" (Kuala Lumpur), "An Evening with Jason Robert Brown" (London), and special performance of "Les Mis" for The Queen & President Chirac at Windsor Castle. She appeared in BBC's "The Quest", with United Colours of Sound (David & Carrie Grant's Gospel Band), and regularly sings in a church gospel choir. Joanna's stunningly pure voice was featured on the International Symphonic recording of "Miss Saigon" and the 1996 revival of "Jesus Christ Superstar".
