Jason Pennycooke Vocal Range Low Baritone to High Tenor (top B flat).
Born and raised in Leeds, Jason sang gospel and spirituals with "Black Expressions". He came to London in 1990 to train in Contemporary Dance at the London Studio Centre. He joined the cast of "Cats" (Coricopat) on their UK tour, then played Little Moe in "Five Guys Named Moe", in London and on European tour.
Other hits followed - "Starlight Express", "Hey Mr.Producer" and "Soul Train". He played Lamar in "Elegies Punks & Raging Queens" and Benny in "Rent" (London & UK tour). He appeared also with the Streetwise Opera Company in "Time Flows", and most recently in the Ska musical, "The Big Life".
Jason regularly plays Sammy Davis Jr. in "The Rat Pack", at venues all over the world. He's appeared in feature films, and in numerous TV adverts.
Jason has a very high range and is a great female mimic.
