Fred Johanson Vocal Range Bottom F to top B flat. (Tenor/baritone) Swedish-born Fred trained at Adolf Fredrik School of Music, and has since trained with specialist vocal coaches in Sweden and England. He's starred in the musical versions of "Fame", "Cyrano" and "Garbo"; as Pilate & Judas in "Jesus Christ Superstar" (English & European tours), as Frollo in "Notre Dame de Paris" (Dominion), as Javert in "Les Miserables" (Danish tour), and as The Beast in "Beauty and the Beast", (Gothenburg & Stockholm). He's appeared as Pilate on the video of "Jesus Christ Superstar" on the concept album for "The Far Pavilions", and has released 2 solo albums. He's composed songs for himself and other artists, and wrote the No.1 hit single "Scandal'us" for Australian Popstars. He's sung (studio & live) with various artists such as Chris Rea, Dave Gilmore, Bob Geldof, Ben E.King, Meja and Edwin Starr. In concert, Fred's appeared with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra in "Les Mis" and "Superstar"; with RTE Concert Orchestra at the Dublin Proms; in "Rhapsody In Rock" and Christmas Concerts, (Stockholm); the Royal Variety Performance, and in "Tribute to Benny Andersson" (Radio & live). He also featured in "The Night of 1000 Voices" at the Royal Albert Hall. A ravishing, powerful voice with perfect control. Impersonations: Tom Jones, James Brown.
