In a highly successful career, Alex seems to have appeared in most musicals written to date! He's played Alex in "Aspects of Love" (Prince Of Wales and Tour), Joe in "Sunset Boulevard" (Adelphi), Macheath in "The Villain's Opera" (National) and Khashoggi in "We Will Rock You" (Dominion).
He's also starred as Vanderdendur in "Candide" (National); Valentine in "Valentine's Day" (Globe), and Tomas in "Matador" (Queens). Other starring roles include Henrik in "A Little Night Music" (Piccadilly & Chichester), 'The Man' in "Brel" (Donmar), and Captain Von Trapp in "The Sound of Music" (Palladium).
Equally at home in drama or musicals, Alex is one of the few actors to have bridged the gap, receiving great acclaim in both fields.
